This beautiful old Bakhtiar originates from western Persia. The palette is deep and rich in the classical tradition, or it can utilise softer hues appropriate to modern décor. This Bakhtiar is an extremely good example of a old carpet (70 years in age) finely knotted with soft wool and soft muted colours.
