OLD AND ANTIQUE RUGS

This Kilim rug was handwoven by the nomads in south western Iran around Fars province. A fantastic interior design piece with wonderful muted colours.

These older examples are now vary hard to find in such good condition. A fantastic example of this style of rug.

What is a Kilim? The word Kilim refers to a "pileless" textile and reversible rug that is flat and thin usually made in Afghanistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, the Caucasus and Iran.
