This carpet is handmade in the area surrounding the village of Sarough ( Saruq ) in the western parts of central Persia. Heavy weight combined with fine quality knotting and wool make a truly exceptional carpet. Made using hand spun wool and natural dyes.

A beautiful old carpet with fantastic colours in perfect condition.
