ANTIQUE QASHQAI RUG - 196cm x 173cm (6'5 x 5'8)

A fantastic antique rug hand knotted by the Qashqai, a nomadic tribe native to the Fars Province of southwestern Iran, primarily inhabiting the Zagros Mountains. 

Made on a non static loom in the Yurt this piece is a great example of Iranian hand knotting.
