OLD TURKMEN RUG - 166cm x 112cm (5'6 x 3'5)

A beautiful and rare antique Turkmen carpet. These high quality rugs are no longer in production and are now very hard to find. 

Made by Turkoman tribes people in Turkmenistan around the turn of the 19th century. 

This piece is an extremely good example with a fantastic design and outstanding colours and extremely fine.
