This is a hand knotted runner implementing a Suzani design.
Traditionally an embroidered textile they were given as part of a dowry and contain many motifs pertaining to love, luck and happiness. I mean, who doesn't want that in their floor art!
This rug is made with only raw materials in Afghanistan, this creates a beautiful and sustainable product with no two rugs ever being the same.
