Fashioned from originally handmade and organically dyed wool and cotton blend vintage Turkish rugs are a joyful rejuvenation of tradition with a modern twist.

Our beautiful Yamamak rugs are first deep-washed and then sheared low for an overall antique effect with softened contours of the original patterns.
They are then over-dyed in solid colours with colour-fast textile dyes safe for health and cut into rectangles. These rectangular carpet pieces are then stitched to each other and sewn (not glued) at the back with a dark-coloured, strong and durable cotton denim that functions as an underlay, protects the rug and extends its life.
