FINE ABADEH - 170cm X 106cm (5'7 x 3'5)NOMADIC & TRIBAL RUGS
This rug is handknotted in the small villages outside the city of Abadeh. Located in Fars Province, Iran. Abadeh is situated at an elevation of 6,200 feet in a fertile plain on the high road between Isfahan and Shiraz. A rug of fine quality it is woven on a horizontal loom and the weaver sits during the weaving process on the half made part of the carpet. Made using hand spun wool and natural dyes.
This rug has been handpicked for its exceptional quality, a fantastic example of a robust and beautiful nomadic rug, the perfect forever gift.
