This is a handwoven chalk kilim rug from Afghanistan. Each one of our natural kilims are handmade with organic raw materials, only natural dyes and hand spun wool. This creates a beautiful yet sustainable product with no two kilims ever being the same.

What is a Kilim? The word Kilim refers to a "pileless" textile and reversible rug that is flat and thin usually made in Afghanistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, the Caucasus and Iran.
