This rug was handknotted by the Lurs nomads that migrate around the Zagros Mountains of western Persia. The Lori rug is woven on horizontal loom and the weaver sits during the weaving process on the half made part of the carpet. Made using hand spun wool and natural dyes.

This rug has been handpicked for its exceptional quality and unusual design a fantastic example of a robust and beautiful nomadic rug.

We only sell hand knotted rugs: no shortcuts and no hand tufting. Quality and good design is incredibly important in creating beautiful yet sustainable products that will last for years to come.

Not all our rugs are listed online so if this is not the correct size for you please contact us and we will try and find your ideal rug.
