This Afshar rug has been handknotted by nomad villagers in the south of Persia. The carpet often has a geometrical pattern with red and blue colours. The Afshar rug is thought to be one of the best examples of nomadic art among carpets, with their primitive and majestic beauty.
Woven on horizontal looms using hand spun wool and natural dyes.

This rug has been specifically chosen for its intricate nomadic design.

Each rug is one of a kind and unique.
